I just want to let everyone know that in the last 3 months my book, 'The Sixties Girl' has won second place, Finalist in the BeverlyHills Book Awards,( romance genre) and one of 5 Finalists in the Indie Excellence Book Awards ( romance genre). I am very happy and excited to have placed in these very important award contests.

Whoo Hoo, The Sixties Girl is not only traveling but winning awards too.

I had to let you know that my book, "The Sixties Girl." Has won runner up Award in the 2013 Beverly Hills Book Awards. I'm very excited that I was chosen as the only other finalist, making me second in the Romance Genre. To have been choosen over so many wonderful novels is a great honor. Thank you Beverly Hills Book Awards.

Happy Spring

Just wanted you to know that my schedule for the summer is filling up quickly. I've been asked to teach a few classes on how to write a book, working on the dates and I will let you know those dates soon.

I also have a Street fair in Wyandotte coming up in July. It's a great little town and I'm looking forward to showing it all to "The Sixties Girl." It should be lots of fun!

Valentines Day is almost here.

An inexpensive way to celebrate would be to buy your lady a single rose of her favorite color along with a bar of her most liked chocolate candy. And don't forget a copy of my book, "The Sixties Girl." You know I had to put that in there lol lol!

You don't have to spend lots of money to impress your lady. It's the thoughtfulness that a women loves. And no matter our age, it's the romance we crave! It makes us feel beautiful, young and loved!

I'll be working on my dreams too. I have 3 books right now that I'm working on. I plan to finish them. And I have hopes of getting the sequel to "The Sixties Girl" out there this year too. I will keep you up to date on that as soon as things get ironed out. So hang in there, because there is more to come this year!
